What Is Server+?
If you want to acquire the knowledge of server issues and technology and want to learn about hardware and software server, then CompTIA Server+ will provide you so and validate your skills and expertise in all these areas. CompTIA Server+ is an international official diploma which serves as an evidence of individual’s skills with 18-24 months experience of Industry Standard Server Architecture (ISSA) technology.

Focus of the Course
By the end of this course you will be able to install, configure, diagnose and troubleshoot server hardware and network operating systems. It will establish in you the knowledge of ISSA hardware skills in areas such as SCSI, RAID etc on Intel and other ISSA-based system. The exam focuses on seven dimensions to test your knowledge and skills. It will validate how effective you are in:

· Disaster Recovery
Preparing to Take the Server+ Exam
CompTIA offers various sources of training for this course. You can either register yourself in online course or go for classroom training. CompTIA provides you multiple training options and you can choose the one you think is best for you. You can even buy study material which will help you to learn more about the course and also you will be able to review the concepts. You can take practice tests online where you can test the level of your knowledge and grasp your weak areas.
The exam consists of 100 questions and you will have 90 minutes to complete the exam. The examination is conducted in English, Chinese, German and Japanese. Time allowed will be 90 minutes and you should be able to score at least 700 out of 900 to clear the test. CompTIA Server+ provides you with knowledge that will assure your accuracy, validity and reliability. Therefore it is recommended that applicants have some experience in server technology, with CompTIA A+ certification. However, CompTIA A+ is not a prerequisite, so either this or another official recognition similar to this is recommended. Network engineer, system engineer security analyst, network administrator, web site administrator are highly preferred.
